My Sneaky Weight Loss Tip

My Sneaky Weight Loss Tip
Augusta Sportswear

by Claire LeBlanc (new mom)

Let me be clear, the post-baby weight struggle is REAL. I had no idea that wearing throwback sweats and an oversized tee shirt wasn’t helping my cause.

Shante, my new trainer, told me to find performance gear to wear when I work out, that what I wear can positively influence my workout routine. I found that the Augusta Sportswear line, with its color block design, is forgiving to my curves. The capris are comfortable, light, and allows full flexibility; the jazzy open back tank gives me a sense of flair.

On the flipside, working out in loose or baggy clothes will not encourage you to go that extra mile so to speak. (You can’t visualize what you want to lose), so you don’t push yourself harder.

A neat trick that I also learned is to avoid eating in loose or baggy clothes. Here’s a better explanation on that from REALBUZZ:

“While eating in your pajamas will not necessarily make you fat (although late-night snacking can certainly be a diet-killer for many of us), wearing loose clothing such as baggy lounge pants and pyjamas can lead you to snack more. This is because baggy clothes give you the illusion of being slimmer and make you think less about your figure. While it is inadvisable to dress in uncomfortably restrictive clothes for your meals, wearing slightly more fitted clothes can help you to think more about your body and is also a better indicator of fat loss or gain than getting weighed on the scales.”
