By Dawgelene “Dr Dawj” Sangster– Chicago Bulls back-up center and 15-year basketball veteran Nazr Mohammed, held his 2nd annual fundraiser at Pazzo’s at Three-Eleven, 311 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago. His foundation, Nazr Mohammed Foundation, was created to provide Chicago youth with an outlet and a positive way to escape the dangers in the streets and do something positive.

A Chicago native, Mohammed developed his basketball talent at Chicago’s Kenwood Academy that benefitted from the proceeds of the fundraiser, along with The Sue Duncan Children’s Center, who received a $5000 donation from the foundation.

The event provided delicious bites and drinks by sponsors like Dos Equis, Avlacier Water, Auchentoshan and others, and brought out many Chicago notables and NBA players. R&B Neo-soul singer-songwriter, Glenn Lewis, also graced the crowd with his soulful tunes.
