90 days left in 2018!
2018 is winding down but I'm filled up with excitement!

There are exactly 90 days remaining for the year of 2018, and there are about 90 things that I thought would have happened that didn’t. Earlier this year during the summer, this would have depressed me. In fact, for much of the beginning of the year, as much as I hate to admit it, I was depressed. As a network marketer in direct sales, I thought my team and volume and pay checks would have been larger, and I thought I was for sure going to finally land my dream job, and I thought I was going to take my children on a fantastic summer vacation with my housing, finances, and family secured. Well, as of today, so much for that; and yet, with so many open loops in life, I have tremendous peace. As the seasoned saints say, “I’ve come through the fire, and I’ve come through the flood, and I’m still here, blessed by His love.”

I have truly had a shift.

I am so excited about these last 90 days of 2018.

I am so excited about these last 90 days of 2018.

Anxiety has left me like the hurricanes that came in with foreboding danger but then pass and life goes on. You find that everything can either be destroyed, or you discover how loving, caring, and kind other generous, helpful souls can be.

Isn’t that the irony of life? Something that had the power to tear apart your home, town, neighborhood, or city can actually be the very thing that shows you how much lovingkindness exists in the world.

Today, I don’t know how the year will end. Like any ambitious, driven, and inspired wife and mother of six, I’d love to say that I have it all figured out, but the reality is I don’t. What I do know is that with God on my side and an attitude of gratitude, I can’t lose.

I am excited for these last 90 days of 2018 and look forward with excitement and enthusiasm like the child full of expectancy for the gifts to receive joyously on Christmas morning. I know it’s important to have goals and do my best, but instead of writing out what I want to happen, my goal for the remainder of 2018 is to open myself to all the good God has for me and align myself to higher purposes. It’s no longer about me. I’m aware now that it’s about God working through me. With a formula like this, I know I can’t fail and the rest of this year will be the best of this year. I am excited to see how these last 90 days of 2018 will be!

    Elana Anthony

I am a wife and mother blessed to have six daughters who fill my home with love and laughter. My passion is writing and teaching, but most especially inspiring people to live healthy lives in my faith-filled fitness classes. My dream is to have my own faith and fitness TV show where people from all the world collectively join together on our "temple" building project of enjoying optimal health. I am a certified group fitness instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and earned graduate degrees in Writing from DePaul University, in addition to a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania. I have seen and experienced the hand of God work and move in my life, and consider it an honor and blessing to be saved to serve.
