Series loss to Gnats
The return to day baseball didn’t help the offense. Another quality start – this time by Ryan Dempster – went to waste with the Cubs leaving 11 men left on base and going only 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position. The result was another series loss, the fifth of the year and the second at Wrigley Field. Apparently we can only beat the Brewers more than once in a series.
