Shop Small Day 166: More Big News

First of all, if you haven’t subscribed to Shop Small through email or follow on Facebook do so now…you do NOT want to miss tomorrow’s post! I am crazy excited about this new business. But, it’s 10:45pm, and it’s been such a jam-packed day, that it’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

So, I figured tonight will help you plan your weekend because there’s tons of news.

imagePeter Rubi’s, my favorite produce market, is celebrating their 1st Anniversary this weekend! In addition to their weekly deals, they’ll have “crazy daily deals” starting tomorrow: they’ll post them on Facebook at 8am.

Sadly, after 5 years in Naperville, Badlands Outfitters is closing. Starting today, everything in the store is 25-50% off. They have a great selection of Lole shorts, Prana dresses, and North Face clothes. So, head over early for some great deals.

imageIncredibly, though, Wurst Kitchen is celebrating 118 years this weekend! This Saturday, from 9-6pm you can get their original or kicker (hot!) brats for $1.18 each. It’s such a great deal that there’s a 6 per customer limit.

While you’re in the area picking up brats, head over to the Two Brothers Summer Festival for great beer and music. Seriously great music- Poi Dog Pondering is playing Saturday night at 8:30! image

I told you, it’s going to be a busy weekend! Just wait, I’m adding one more stop to your list with tomorrow’s post. I’ll try to publish it early so you can carve a little extra time into your Saturday or Sunday. You will definitely thank me!
