Day 99: Badlands Outfitters

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Badlands Outfitters has closed. We wish them happiness on their next journey.

If you prefer hiking the hills than sitting poolside, this place is for you! If mountainside yoga is more your speed than movie marathons, then you need to visit this store. If you’re an adventurer (or just want to dress like you are), then Badlands Outfitters is for you!

Conveniently located right by Trader Joe’s, Badlands Outfitters carries clothes for the whole family. You’ll find great brands like Patagonia, North Face, Lole (love!), Burton, Reef, Prana, and a ton more. Just because you’re hiking Colorado (or the local forest preserve) doesn’t mean you can’t be comfortable and stylish!

Owners Eric & Lori Torcasio have had plenty of their own adventures, and they’re always willing to share a story too. They’re enthusiastic about sharing their passion for the outdoors and traveling with everyone: novice or avid outdoors-men/women. They’re helpful with recommendations and filled with product knowledge.

Badlands Outfitters is a great place to pick up items for your next family camping trip, something for your “on-the-go” mom for Mother’s Day, or even just great spring casual wear for sitting through travel baseball season games.

Forget the big box stores, let the people who’ve lived the adventures help prepare you for your next one!
