Tweens are notoriously hard to buy gifts for, and the items on their wish lists can be pricey. Gone are the days of the cheap Candy Land game and playing with the cardboard box. Sniff, sniff. But that doesn’t mean it is time to turn into Scrooge. You can still bring smiles and laughter by playing Santa or celebrating the nights of Hanukkah with fun items that, while targeted at tweens, are tons of fun for all generations.
By the time kids are tweens, their gift givers have learned that spending a lot does not always correlate with the amount of fun brought about by a gift. (see above reference to the cardboard box.) You can give the kid a happy holiday and keep saving for college with these items that low in cost but high in enjoyment.
