The Entire Texas Series at U.S. Cellular

Rarely do the most difficult series of the year contain the most easy pleasures, but the three-game set against Texas seem scripted for maximum enjoyment by White Sox fans.

The opener contained gluttonous amounts of offensive might, the second night gave a chance for newcomer Kevin Youkilis to be the hero, and the finale not only provided the most thorough affirmation of Jose Quintana yet, but had concluding imagery worthy of cinema.  Addison Reed closed out the sweep as thunder and lightning crashed around him, and looked to be at his strongest while pitching through the storm.

It was hard to think of the Sox in a rational way for a short time afterward.
