Hear how a Chicago Public Schools teacher centers student voice at virtual AFT conference Tuesday, March 22

Join Ray Salazar, long-time Chicago Public Schools and National Board Certified teacher, on Tuesday, March 22 from 4-5pm CST as he discusses how to build community that centers student voice.

This is part of the American Federation of Teachers “Share My Lesson” virtual conference.

Moderated by two National Board certified teachers, this panel with Ray and teachers from from Austin, Salt Lake City, and Skokie will share ways to ensure each student voice is uplifted and valued.

Participants are eligible to receive one hour of professional development recertification credit by completing the poll questions, survey, and actively watching the webinar. At the end, participants can download a certificate.

Participants will leave with actionable practices to implement in their classrooms to respect students’ varying backgrounds and strengthen learning experiences for all.
