Vintage, flea and antique markets: my new obsession and there are plenty right here!

Quite a few years ago I shopped at a store that carried quite a bit of vintage merchandise. I found myself drawn to it as I am a lover of all things unusual. Not necessarily old, just unusual.

I discovered that buying a lot of these types of things are much more expensive in a retail storefront. I would never have thought to shop at a “flea” market as I assumed that it meant it was all junk. I’d been to flea markets in other areas and found them to be mostly just that. So, when someone recommended I try the flea market in Grayslake I was shocked at what I found. And since then I have been hooked.

Last year when we moved into our new home I needed a lot of furniture to fill it up. Since I hate paying retail for anything I decided to try some vintage markets. I am now hooked and for anyone interested in buying amazing things for your home on a shoestring budget, look no further than the following list of Markets.
