About The First Look for Charity

The Chicago Auto Show’s First Look for Charity stands as one of Chicago’s premier single-day fundraisers that brings financial support and advocacy to 18 local charities. The benevolent, black-tie event is annually held the evening before the Chicago Auto Show opens to the public to provide a sneak peek at the nation’s largest auto show – with style and elegance. Attendees get a glimpse of the industry’s hottest vehicles while enjoying world class hors d’oeuvres and beverages that reflect cuisine around the world.

Since its debut in 1992, First Look for Charity has raised nearly $40 million for Chicagoland charities such as Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, JDRF and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The 2015 fundraiser is anticipated to bring in at least another $2 million to support local charities.
