Perfect holiday gift for Cub fans

For the holiday season I thought I’d summarize the reviews my book, Called Out: A novel of base ball and America in 1908, has received. This would be a shameless attempt to convince you to buy a signed copy of the book as a gift. It’s very easy and only costs $15.95 (cheap) plus tax and shipping. The details are below.

But first, on to the reviews.

Rabia Tanveer writing in Readers’ Favorite:

Intriguing, intense and action packed, Called Out is a fast paced novel that is built on solid characters and an amazing story line. The story and the plot lines are very well-constructed and the characters are well-rounded … Brilliant, and a fun read.”

But enough already! I can tell you that as these have been published, it’s been a very gratifying experience.

So if you’d like to buy a signed copy as a gift, or for yourself, here’s all you need to do.

1. Click on the link to my book’s page on The Book Cellar site below. Add Called Out to your “cart.”

2. On the checkout page, scroll down to the message window and request a signed copy, and even a special dedication to the gift recipient if you so desire.

3. Complete the purchase.Your book, or books (!) will arrive in 3 to 5 days.

The system works. It’s been done by many happy readers! Happy with the service, and then happy with the book!! If they are out of stock they will order more quickly and ask me to stop by the store to sign the new copies. I’ve done this several times already. (The Book Cellar is in my neighborhood, and 2016 World Series MVP Ben Zobrist’s neighborhood, too. Did I tell you he lives about 5 blocks away?!)
