GF Challenged, The New Label
Dining with my hubby last night at our local restaurant, our waitress informed me that gluten-free breads were “gross and stale” right after I asked for a gluten-free menu. Inquiring minds always want to know why people are so anti against the gluten-free (gf) challenged, I asked her when or why did she try the gf bread. ... Read more »
Gluten-Free Donuts
Whole Foods has frozen gluten-free donuts. They are too die for. The donuts come in chocolate or vanilla frosting/icing and thinking if I bought vanilla instead of chocolate I would be able to control myself….WRONG!!! Being a chocoholic I assumed I would be safe with the vanilla icing amazingly delicious cake textured donuts. OMG!!!! It’s either... Read more »

My son the CPA (yes, I’m bragging) is coming home for dinner tonight (don’t keep reading, go to the next paragraph) asked for ribs (I warned you), corn pudding (has dairy in it), baked beans (the ones with bacon) and a chocolate dessert. My family are carcass eaters. They will also eat tons of veggies... Read more »
Breakfast VGF Style!
My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, I could eat it at every meal. From muffins to pancakes to waffles and to the old standby; oatmeal. Yet, as a vegan and gluten-free it has become quite a problem, for you see all the above are laden with eggs, milk and all sorts of carcass... Read more »
Oh Mandolin How Thoust Make My Meal
Ever since I received a Mandolin from my mother I have gone slicing crazy. I slice potatoes and sweet potatoes and make my own chips, with less oil and I add turmeric for health benefits. I am slicing zucchini (both green and yellow) and using that as noodles for pasta dishes. It is much... Read more »
