Who I Am project gives confidence to tweens
As my children are growing up and my son is now a (gasp) tween, I often reflect back to myself during those awkward years of insecurity, doubt and little confidence.

Shalimar Beekman, a Chicago mom and photographer, created the Who I Am project to fill in the forgotten photo years while enriching the lives of pre-teens. The main goal is to help tweens look and feel beautiful and be confident in who they are.

Her mission is to help pre-teen girls look and feel beautiful and to be confident in who they are. Shalimar wants to help girls have unshakeable confidence before they enter their teen years.
