My husband’s grandma passed away at age 93 yesterday. Although, I’ve known her for a small part of her long life, the 15 years that she was a part of my life were enriched because of her.
We met at our college graduation in 1999.

This was me and my then boyfriend with all four of our grandmothers. Sadly, we have said goodbye to all of them.
Bubby Sarah was very proud to walk down the aisle at our wedding with Alex.
Despite, her dislike of air travel, Bubby Sarah came to visit and loved to observe and ask the children questions.
The kids and I spent some special summers at the Jersey Shore where Bubby taught us canasta and loved to sing “Bim, Bim, Bim Butsy” to the babies.
The whole family got together to celebrate her 90th Birthday despite a mammoth snow storm, she was thrilled and made everyone laugh.
She looked beautiful that last time we saw her at cousin Laura’s wedding.
I’m blessed to have her a part of my life the past fifteen years and am inspired my her strength and the beautiful family she created.
We will miss you Bubby Sarah.
