I do believe I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis for a reason. Why else would a healthy, active, clean eating, yoga teaching Mom get diagnosed with MS the same week my daughter started Kindergarten and my son began second grade?
Since the September morning I woke up with a numb hand and foot and typed those words into Google, I knew there needed to be a non-intimidating or complicated website for those with MS and their families to go for information, education and support.
I don’t have a long attention span and do not want to be overwhelmed with a barrage of information; I crave simplicity and a space to be honest.
After many long hours lying in bed with my eyes wide open, I decided to take a huge jump and follow my heart and create Modern Day MS.
Most of my summer while I was walking to the park with my kids and when I should have been doing laundry (so sorry to my patient husband), I have been passionately working on making this dream a reality.
In this process, I’ve been fortunate to connect with a diverse selection of real people with multiple sclerosis and hope this site can help some of the 2.3 millions people (and their families) struggling with this disease worldwide.
Without further ado, I present to you Modern Day MS!
Thank you in advance for your support. Please let me know what you think about Modern Day MS. After all, it was created for YOU.
