Cinnamon Raspberry Walnut Oatmeal with Chia Seeds

Breakfast and I went through a little dry spell. I never felt hungry in the morning because I was overeating at night because I hadn’t eaten enough during the day and this cycle continued.

Part of the problem was I never really knew what I was in the mood for in the morning.  My Facebook friends suggested oatmeal and since then I’ve been on a big kick trying out different flavor combos.  This version is one I can eat day after day for breakfast, but also as a mid-afternoon snack.

Cinnamon Raspberry Walnut Oatmeal with Chia Seeds


1/4 cup Steel Cut Oats

1 cup Almond Milk

8 raspberries

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Place one cup almond milk in small pot and bring to boil.  Add oats and boil for 3 minutes.  Add raspberries, walnuts, cinnamon and chia seeds and stir well.

Let cook for a minute and enjoy!
