October is the month of the pumpkin. Even before summer ends the Pumpkin Spice Lattes and doughnuts are appearing in coffee shops and bakeries.
The excess sweetness isn’t my taste, but in reality pumpkin is packed with many important nutrients. Pumpkin is loaded with fiber and key vitamins and minerals to aid in digestive issues, prevent heart disease and strengthen the immune system.
