
I have so much to say about the tragedy in Connecticut, yet there is nothing to say. No words that will make the mothers of each of those twenty 6 and 7 year olds understand how their baby died.
Eight years ago when I found out I was pregnant with our first child, I vowed to do everything possible to keep my little fetus safe. I immediately quit caffeine, stopped eating tuna (the mercury caused autism I heard), eliminated sushi and soft cheeses.
When he was born I didn’t feed him formula or jarred baby food, as I want to keep him as far away from those killer chemicals.
