A personalized children's book holiday gift giveaway

A personalized children's book holiday gift giveaway

This time of year I always feel loaded down with stuff.  When grandparents ask what my kids want for the holidays, I quickly shout, “nothing” as I cannot imagine one more piece of junk in my home.

I know “nothing” is not a helpful answer, so I am in search of unique and educational gift ideas.

Tom and Sue (married 31 years, parents of 3) from Bammco contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing the book Find Me if You Can, a book similar to “Where’s Waldo” featuring the face of your child.  I decided to use my daughter’s face as I wondered if my first grader was too old for this type of book.

Find Me if You Can is a large, colorful, 30 page book custom made for each child. Each 8 1/2″ by 11″ page features your child’s face hidden among lots of other smiling little faces! Each page also includes fun rhymes for children to enjoy and is bound in hard-cover for longevity. Moms, dads and grandparents alike will love this keepsake product.

The book can be made with up to 120 faces in it. Think soccer team or schools.   Children love to see themselves in a book and want to show it to everyone.

As suspected my daughter loved finding her smiling mug on each page, but to my surprise my son enjoyed it just as much as my little one.  I listened to them in the other room giggling as they raced to be the first to point to our family member on every page.

The exciting part is Tom and Sue have offered to give an Ups and Downs of a Yoga Mom reader a free book with any child’s photo in it.  All you have to do is comment below with what your child (or niece, nephew, granddaughter, friend) wants for Hanukkah or Christmas and you will be entered to win a book.  An extra entry if you Like Ups and Downs of a Yoga Mom on Facebook.  Contest ends December 7th at noon.

If you want to get your shopping done early, order today and receive 10& off your order until December 6, 2012 simply use the code buckethead.

Enjoy your books and remind me the next time someone asks what my kids want to say a Find Me if You Can book!
