Unexpected Information about Unexpected Art

1200px-union_life_building_little_rock_ar-1The building, was once known as the Union Life Building and is a landmark, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It was built between 1911 and 1916 and is the only Chicago School building in Little Rock.  The eleven story building building was designed by the same architect that designed the Arkansas State Capitol building, George R. Mann.

An additional story has been added to the original building, making it 12 stories.
