Meggan Sommerville is a Christian transgender woman with a heart for educating others about the transgender community and her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ . She has been a veterinary technician, an EMT/Paramedic, EMS instructor, and a firefighter. She is currently a professional picture/art framer and a wildlife/outdoor photographer. After being a mom to two wonderful and brilliant kids, she states, "I am finally comfortable with who I am. For nearly my entire life, I have hidden and denied myself. I have suffered to the point of ending my life. In 2009 I said NO longer! After prayer, medical treatment and seeking wisdom from those much wiser than myself, I have faith that my decision was the right one and for reasons known only to God, this is the path I am suppose to be on. I know I will have a difficult road ahead and meet with prejudice along the way. There are those, from my past, who do not agree with the choices I have made, but they were my choices and it is I alone that will stand before Christ on the day of judgment and answer for everything I have done. My faith in Christ sustains me and he has provided my friends that help keep me going in the difficult times and keep me humble in the good times."
