The Heath Dolls DIY Frozen Themed Christmas

The Heath Dolls DIY Frozen Themed Christmas

Hey Fancy Fam!

When it comes to Christmas in The Heath Household we go all out. You know Fancy Like Mommy Style! It’s literally our favorite holiday of the year. Every year since The Heath Dolls were born, I’ve put up a themed Christmas tree. This year was no different except I wanted to do something extra special due to everything that’s going on in the world that has caused us to miss out on so many of our Holiday outings and traditions.

Disney Frozen Theme
Like most three year olds, The Heath Dolls love the Disney Frozen movies! I’m sorry let me correct myself they are obsessed to the point where they each believe they are Elsa and Anna lol. That said, it was truly a no brainer as to what theme they asked for AGAIN this year. Last year we went with the main colors in the movie, blue, purple, and pink. Although very pretty, I wanted to do something different.  I decided on an all white and silver Olaf inspired tree and got to work.
Ornaments
Now I know most of us shop at your typical big box stores for beautiful ornaments but I have a little secret to share. Are you ready? Can you say #TheDollarTree. Thats right, The Dollar Tree has some of the most  beautiful ornaments that come in many designs, colors, shapes and sizes. In previous years Ive had so much luck finding the perfect ornaments so I decided to head there this year and boy was it worth it. I literally purchased everything in my vision and more! My purchase included Large sparkle snowflakes, medium sized silver snow flakes, furry ballerinas and a variety of traditional round ornaments.  In total, I spent about $40. Huge Savings!
Tree Skirt
Instead of a traditional tree  I decided to use the Large Frozen Characters. I positioned Anna on the left, Olaf in the middle, and Elsa on the right. I used a little wire to hold them in position leaving all of the arms free. You’ll find out why I did that in my final reveal. Once they were positioned straight on the base of the tree, we began putting all the beautiful ornaments on. Link below.

Treasure Chest Surprise
Last year, I came across the most beautiful Frozen themed treasure chest boxes and completely fell in love. Each box starting at just $2.00 boast beautiful 3D images of the Frozen Characters and scenes from the movie. Not only were they a beautiful scene setter,  but they also were used to they can store all the gifts! Goodbye wrapping paper and hello to our treasure chest surprise Christmas! I highly recommend these as an alternative to traditional wrapping paper. With a small investment you lose the stress and the mess. After doing a bit of research I learned that these type of boxes can be purchased many different themes and can be made custom. Here’s a company that sells the ones similar to what we used.
The Reveal
Once we sorted all the treasure chest boxes in an eye catching design around the tree we were just about done. The last step was to position the arms of the Large Frozen characters to appear like they were holding all the boxes. The Heath Dolls absolutely love their tree and we hope you do too! Happy Holidays from our to yours!  Double Love, The Heath Dolls and Family!
