Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, April 23-25

Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, April 23-25

My leading event for this weekend is the opening of yet another taproom. Marz Brewing is opening its "brand extension" in Logan Square this Friday at 4 pm. The North Side spot is in the Margie’s Candies building at 1950 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Marz will celebrate the opening with the release of a New England IPA called Marzonic Supreme. Those who buy a 4-pack will get a 16-page Marz poster set. (Block Club Chicago)

This is in addition to the grand opening for Imperial Oak's new Brookfield taproom on Saturday. Plus the first IPA release at First Forest, the brewery that went into the former Blue Nose Brewery in Hodgkins.
