Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, April 30-May 2
This weekend, we are seeing the first release of a charitable collaboration: Things We Don't Say IPA: Craft Beer for Mental Health. The project was created to help shift how we approach mental health by encouraging people to talk about their experiences and feelings, both good and bad, and to demonstrate the importance of asking for help when we need it.
The collaboration recipe was developed by Eagle Park Brewing, Malteurop Malting Company, Hollingbery & Son, Inc. Hop Company. Named after Hope For The Day’s flagship mental health education curriculum, Things We Don't Say IPA: Craft Beer for Mental Health is a 6% IPA being released in conjunction with Hope For The Day’s Shake The Stigma awareness campaign for Mental Health Month 2021.
Participating area brewers planning to release their versions of the collaboration include over 35 breweries in the Chicago area.
