Chicago's Craft Beer Week, September 23-26
Oktoberfest has kicked off its first weekend. Officially, the original Okotberfest goes on all week, so I have a few of those listed here. To spare thumbs from excessive scrolling, I've listed weeklong events just within the first day they happen, with the other days' schedules in the same article.
We are also creeping into the time for big hearty beer releases, starting with some Revolution previews.
I've added Pipeworks Oktoberfest beer to my beer styles cheat sheet page. So far this year, I've only been able to add this and the Shiner Okto. And I've had to drop out the Baderbräu Oktoberfest, since it's kind of not available anymore. Please do check the page out...
Chicago Craft Beer Events, April 9-12
I went to a Cubs home opener many years ago, and the weather and cold and chilly, a lot like today. But I always say a day at the ballpark is never wasted. That's along with the Revolution run bar in the stands at… what is it now? Comiskey? The Cell? The Rate...
Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, October 13-15
Is it still playoff time? The Cubs have a do-or-die game on Thursday that will determine whether they get to take on the Dodgers starting Saturday. We'll be adding to this list with NLCS events as they're announced.
Meantime, we have another brand new brewer with a grand opening on Saturday. Take a look below.
And remember to enter the lottery for tickets to Goose Island's Proprietor's Day on November 19. Details at this article....

Chicago Craft Beer Events, December 6-8
Back to a twice a week schedule. I missed some events that popped up since the last listing went to bed. Usually I still post them on my Beeronaut Facebook Page. And you know, yesterday was the 80th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. A lot of by brewing and serving contacts posted about it... Read more »
