I am still sweeping up from all the last-minute Valentine's events I plugged into the previous calendar. Just enough time to punch this one out while I work on some "overview" pages from some local breweries. It's a new thing I'm trying.
I also hope to get ahead of schedule on St. Patrick's weekend events. I may have to decide to be more selective in what gets listed: I already left out those that offer nothing but green-dyed megabrews. Is it enough just to say you have Guinness on tap, or do we need something more? We'll see...
I had a nice collections of classic Guinness ads with a soccer theme, but there's drawback in that ireland isn't in the World Cup. No luck scouring for other vintage international football beer ads, but we'll see what the future brings. Meatime, I'm still watching for beer places with a full futbol schedule to write up here

Looks like the main theme of this week is a new round of Bell’s sampling, including Wheat Love, a Barley Wine with eight different kinds of wheat making up 55% of its malt bill; in its first appearance since 2005. UPDATE, Dec. 8: Niall reports that Founders Vice President Dave Engbers will attend Saturday’s Ultimate Beer Bout, and he’ll be bringing a keg of their prized Kentucky Breakfast Stout!
