Chicago Week in Craft Beer, September 20-23

Chicago Week in Craft Beer, September 20-23
New brewer 9th Hour coming to Lake Villa

There’s another new brewer starting up in what should be difficult times! Downtown Lake Villa should soon see the opening of 9th Hour Brewing. It’s a community support brewery, run by “Dave and Jim,” two teachers at Lakes Community High School. Their web site says the facility will also focus on education about various brewing topics. They have just debuted Pink Lemonade Tart-y to Class sour at the Grayslake Craft Beer Festival, and are taking suggestions for the name for a vanilla blonde.
