Update: It now looks as though some limited reopenings will commence in Chicago and suburban Cook County on Saturday. On the supposition that the infection rate doesn't suddenly increase. Check with your favorite places to see if they will be available for indoor seating. (Chicago Tribune story)
The easing of restrictions on public places has rolled out a lot more slowly than we had expected. But at least Will and Kankakee Counties are moving back to limitied indoor dining under Tier I, with more action to follow. Some beer establishments have indicated they want to wait and see that they don't have to go back into lockdown just a week after bringing back their staff. But as I can I will watch for new changes in operations and seating arrangements and try to work them in. As it turns out, some places are just opening right up with no announced "Grand Re-Openings."
