This Week's Chicago Craft Beer Events, October 21-24

It’s been a rough day or two for me here: a “normal” day surgery procedure ended up with complications. Let’s just say some of my clothes looked like Carrie’s prom dress. Fortunately, it got cleared up at an “Immediate Care” facility instead of needing an ER visit. But in the meantime, I’m expected to stay off alcohol. And acidic fruits. And spicy foods. Even chocolate. Enh!

In case you missed it (or ICYMI, as the kids online say), InBev/Anheuse- Busch is seeking an injunction against MillerCoors to prevent it from using its “trade secrets”, among them the process for making Bud Light. Here I thought the only secret was how much water they dilute their beer with. (Chicago Tribune)
