Big week coming. Here is what’s up with SOB’s Thanksgiving week (Week of 11/23).
Monday: At 7PM we’ll be releasing 100 mixed bomber packs available for just $50. Come early, at 6PM we’ll start making tickets available behind the bar so people can hang out and have a few beers rather than wait in line. The mixed packs will feature three bombers each of Man vs. Internet, Ravaged By Vikings, Pernicieux, and Nourri au Fourrage.
Wednesday: A Funky Black Wednesday with vinyl spinning, Toasty Cheese, and what we can only assume will be several impromptu dance parties. Hip hop and funk all night. Don’t eat before you come, our friends at Toasty Cheese will be blowing minds from 5-9PM. Last call will be at 11PM and this whole day is your last chance to get our beer from the source for your Thanksgiving party. Celebrate Black Wednesday with Pioneer Tavern Group as they host the 5th annual Black Wednesday Trolley Crawl that features a complimentary trolley running all night between Lottie’s, The Pony and Frontier. Each location will feature drink specials including $5 Jameson Black, $5 Black and Stormys, $4 Strongbow, $4 Heineken and more.
The trolley launch point begins at Lottie’s at 7 p.m. and heads to The Pony, which will feature a Chicago Blackhawks vs. San Jose Sharks official roadwatch party beginning at 9 p.m. with Blackhawks ticket giveaways. The trolley also makes a stop at Frontier which will have a “Barn Party” featuring a campfire, music, S’mores, spiced wine, hot cocktails, smoked turkey legs, and free screen printed t-shirts (while supplies last).

2015 BCS Regal Rye: A unique blend of Bourbon County Brand Stout aged in rye whiskey barrels with blackberries, Luxardo candied cherries, fresh sour cherries and sea salt.
2015 BCS Proprietors: This Chicagoland-only special release adds the base beer to bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup barrels sourced from Sugar Chalet in Ohio. A local culinary school helped the brewers roast 1000 pounds of raw pecans which were then added to the beer along with guajillo peppers just to give some moderate heat to the back-end.
