Also watch for The Saint Louis Brewery (the Gateway City’s largest American-owned brewery!), which will soon be introducing its Schalfly beer to the Chicago market! A few kegs will be popping up at various events soon, while the formal launch is planned for January.

Beer Hoptacular Kick Off Party

Love beer? Enjoy a good true crime story? Join Lake Bluff Brewing Co at the Raupp Museum for a chilling lecture on a historical “Murder in the Meadow”. Oktoberfest Tap Takeover

Oktoberfest is here, and Tradition Gastro Pub + Kitchen will be celebrating in a big way! During the month of October the Tradition taps will be taken over by Oktoberfest brews – six different beers in all:
Sam Adams Octoberfest, Southern Tier Pumking, Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin, Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest, Erdinger Oktoberfest, Victory Festbier
On the evening of October 8th, Tradition will host a tasting event in which brewery representatives will be on-site to hand out samples, talk about each beer and answer questions about the brewing process.

Join us for a pint of Goose Island’s wet-hop I.P.A., Sticky Feathers.
Sticky Feathers is made using 100% Michigan grown hops. Really nice example of the style, which is popping off right now during hop harvest season.
We’ll be joined by Goose Island brewers and a big gang from the Fulton Street operation lookin’ to hang out, have a pint and talk beer with you.

Bell’s Oracle, Octoberfest, and Oarsman are bound to make you say “Oh!” After a day in your office space – come to Tuman’s and show us your “O” face. The Oracle, a Double India Pale Ale (DIPA) so rare there are only eight quarter barrels in all of Chicagoland (Tuman’s has secured one especially for this event). Other featured seasonal and year-round beers include Oarsman Ale, Two Hearted Ale and Amber Ale. Tuman’s has also reserved one of the last kegs of the annual summertime favorite, Oberon Ale. The featured beers range from $4-$8 each. Monica Mooney, Bell’s brand ambassador/beer expert, provides beer education and gives away Bell’s hats, T-shirts and other logoed gear. A $9 brat dinner special, which includes a beer brat and mashed potatoes, augments the regular menu. There is no cover charge for the party and food and drink is pay-as-you-go.

Join us for our first ever Barrel Aged Beer Dinner, featuring a four course custom menu of food and beer pairings. Guests will enjoy the complex and rich brews from Tyranena Brewing, Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Allagash and Alltech Lexington Brewing. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. with passed appetizers, followed by the seated dinner at 7:00 p.m. The event is priced at $65.00 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included). During dinner our chef and Rob will passionately explain their handiwork and how it applies to each of the five delicious courses. Baderbräu Naked Selfie debuts this week in Hyde Park

Baderbräu Brewing Company is hosting an ‘Art of Baderbräu’ event at Hyde Park’s hotspot the Promontory. The event will serve as an integrated studio for renowned Chicago graffiti artists as they perform live to celebrate the launch of Naked Selfie.
Baderbräu Naked Selfie is a Black India Pale Lager, dry hopped with Ella hops from Australia. It has a black color with a deep roasted malt flavor, accentuated by the anise aroma imparted from the Ella hops. Pairs well with strong flavored foods such as aged cheese, nuts and meats.
Naked Selfie is available at fine retailers and bars and restaurants like Binny’s, Bangers and Lace and Boiler Room among others across Chicagoland.
