Chicago Cubs Spring Training: An Outside Look

Tom Ricketts and the entire Chicago Cubs organization are some of, if not THE best in the business. This organization brought its 100-plus-years of history into an absolutely beautiful and welcoming Spring Training facility. Nestled in the heart of Mesa, Ariz., Sloan Park brings out iconic Wrigley Field features, such as the unique scoreboard clock, ivy, and red marquee sign that sits at the intersection of Clark and Addison.

While I wasn’t able to reach past the front gate, I was able to soak in all of the magic behind closed doors. The outsider’s view of what I would like to call Disneyland 2.0, only has me wanting more. Not to mention I want one of those trademark hotdogs from the Portillos on the property.
