Gee, If Only Our Political Pundits Could Be President

It is said the most powerful man in the world is a US President…the problem with that premise is the assumption his power is unlimited…so whatever the tragedy — from a gunmen slaying visitors here to a terrorist group beheading journalists over there, a traumatized citizenry intuitively looks for the explanation + the answer from this man…and when the explanations are complicated to follow, and the answers are not immediate victories, (1) supporters despair and (2) critics disparage…which is about as logical as blaming the coach of Michigan for not being Catholic enough to beat Notre Dame on Saturday!
