Sugar Buzz Chicago started out as a great excuse to indulge in my perfect trifecta: butter, flour and sugar. It still is. But now the blog has evolved beyond the sweet beat to cover the total package: FOOD! Sugar Buzz Chicago features food news, recipes and commentary.

More about me: I’m not a gourmet cook although I have had recipes published in Bon Appetit. I’m a sucker for easy, impressive recipes, the kind that makes everyone think you're a genius in the kitchen.

I also like to putter around the kitchen, experimenting, whipping up healthier versions of  previously unhealthy dishes. If the dishes get a thumbs-up from me and my husband, I’ll share the recipes with you here on Sugar Buzz Chicago.
