Sugar is supposed to be just as addictive as heroin and I (whose Twitter handle happens to be sugarbuzzjudy) believe it. That’s why I think of these delicious little babies as Methadone for sugar junkies like me.
When I’m craving something sweet and dessert-y but don’t want to give in to my inner sugar demon, these healthy, unbelievably simple cookies are my go-to.
I’m not going to lie. They’re not the best oatmeal cookies I’ve ever tasted (How could they be with no butter or sugar!?). But for a healthy treat, they’re pretty darn good. And satisfying.
Amazingly, these cookies are made with just oatmeal, bananas and raisins. You could mix in other ingredients such as cinnamon, chopped walnuts or chocolate chips, but it’s not necessary.
So when you need a quick, well, fix, give these cookies a try.
Three Ingredient No Sugar Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup rolled oats
1 ripe bananas
handful of raisins
Preheat oven to 350.
Place oatmeal in a medium-sized bowl. Add ripe bananas and squish it all together with your fingers until ingredients are combined. Mix in raisins.Form mixture into tablespoon-size balls with your fingers and flatten a bit with a fork. Please on a baking sheet coated with cooking oil spray. Bake about 16 minutes. Makes about 10 cookies
