In celebration of Red Bull Music Academy’s 15th anniversary, Red Bull Music Academy will release full-length feature film, What Difference Does It Make? A Film About Making Music.
On the 15th anniversary of the first-ever Red Bull Music Academy, award-winning director Ralf Schmerberg and his artist collective Mindpirates filmed the action from RBMA New York 2013 and the result is a film about the desire, drive and inspirations to make music, featuring appearances from Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Brian Eno, Giorgio Moroder, Erykah Badu, Nile Rodgers, Rakim, Richie Hawtin, James Murphy, Debbie Harry and many more.
The film will premier on February 17th in Chicago at Lincoln Hall. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the screening starts at 8p.m. The night will feature DJ sets by Todd Osborn (Ghostly International/Rephlex) and Steve Mizek (Argot). This event is free and open to the public and the first 100 attendees will recive a free gift/treat bag.
