A quick, easy teacher appreciation gift

Yup, I’ve got a quick, easy (as in anyone can make it) teacher appreciation gift for you. Now that I’m a mom I’m in charge of remembering all the days we get to show a little love to our teachers and this year’s teacher appreciation week kind of snuck up on me. I was also a teacher, so I’m kind of an expert on teacher appreciation gifts.

So, what do teachers like?

My answer was truly EVERYTHING. I was always so touched that people took a little extra time out to think of me. And, there is nothing sweeter than a student walking up to you with a gift. Nothin’.

Still, many teachers get overwhelming amounts of things like candles, body lotions, cups and ornaments (ALL OF WHICH I LOVE). Most teachers will say their favorites are in two categories: gift cards and food.

Both are easy on parents to get and send off. Don’t believe me about the food gift? I used a pinterest idea to put this little ditty together, and it just took a trip to Target (well, one trip if your Target has clear gift bags/ cellophane. Ours is remodeling and is a hot, hot mess of business).

The basic idea: lemonade, muffins, puns, and a thank you. GET IT?!

The basic idea: lemonade, muffins, puns, and a thank you. The Simply Lemonade tag reads, “You’re Simply the best.” The muffin tag reads, “There’s muffin we can do but say… ” And a handmade card says, “Thank you!”

Also, did I mention I’m the cheesiest person alive…and that I really want to eat those muffins? Any quick, easy ideas for the rest of us to consider?
