“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.”
So many are afraid to share their creative side. I often wonder why.
Young professionals sometimes hide behind their 9-to-5, board meetings and judgment; like a barrier keeping them inside the box.
Well, I scream: “Get Outside That Box!”
The reason for arts and humanities in our lives is to expose us to the beautiful world of our imagination. We Are The Creatives. The talented; yet life can water down, the gifted, imaginative, and most unique people in the world! We expand horizons, inspire expressions and expire limitations cast beyond the shadows of “The norm.” Let your sound of art, music, word and culture rise!
Over the last couple of years, I have met and been inspired by so many brilliant minds. It isn’t all the glam and good times you see commercialized; hard work and dedication allows these prominent figures to share their world through the looking glass of achievement.
This weekend, I am inviting you to a free event to experience the creativity of Chrissy Cavin and Terrell Johnson.
Be inspired at this bi-monthly ‘Art Fusion’ event Saturday December 20th, 2014
ART FUSION is…Creativity at it’s finest. A pairing of creatives from various industries in a social setting under one roof, for one night. with one purpose: to share, inspire and engage each other and introduce guests to their bodies of work. Each installment features original art, top shelf cocktails, food, music and more, but each experience is never the same.
Art Fusion Vision: “It’s an outlet created for you. An experience you’re invited to join. It’s your story, created by you, shared by you, for you.” -Chrissy Theresa
