The Road to Essence Festival is Coming!

The Road to Essence Festival is a collection of four mini-festivals that promote and pay homage to the 20th anniversary of the Essence Festival.

The event launched in Atlanta today, where Colgate TOTAL hosted “A TOTAL Conversation” that featured panelists Colgate TOTAL’s Dr. Catrise Austin, Dr. Alison Riddle Fletcher, Dr. Aldun Tartt,  Essence relationship editor Charreah Jackson, and Atlanta-area Six Brown Chicks correspondents Mary Pickard and Shanti Ray, among other notables.

The event, that included a workout with fitness expert Victor Jackson, is a part of Essence magazine’s Healthy Revolution to provide  consumers a taste of Essence as it paves the way to one of the largest gatherings for African Americans in the country, The 20th Anniversary of the Essence Music Festival.

The Essence Music Festival takes place in New Orleans.
