Rumor has it (from a very good source) that tomorrow Time Out will be naming Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood as the second coolest neighboorhood in the world and first in America.

Chicago is a city of many neighborhoods. Officially there are 77 neighborhoods–but many people dispute this number and say there are more. Each neighborhood has a unique personality that is reflected in its shops, residents, bars, restaurants, art and more.

For their list, Time Out asked more than 27,000 city-dwellers around the world about their most loved neighbrhood. Editors factored in not just great vibes, food, drink, nightlife and culture, but also community spirit, resilience and the areas setting new standards for sustainability with innovative green initiatives along with other quality-of-life factors that promote stress-free living.For the list.
