Chicago Theatre is alive, well and back in person. Take a look at some of the confirmed upcoming productions from theaters listed below.


A Red Orchid Theatre, American Blues Theater, Chicago Magic Lounge, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Court Theatre, Drury Lane Theater, Mercury Theater Chicago, Northlight Theatre, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Skates, The Musical (spring 2022), The Second City, Victory Gardens Theater, Writers Theatre–list will be updated as more shows are added.

September 2021

  • The Second City’s 109th Revue – Happy to be Here – Opens September 30 at 7pm

October 2021

  • Songs for Nobodies – Northlight Theatre –Opens October 1 at 8pm
  • As You Like It – Chicago Shakespeare –Opens October 15 at 7:30pm In the Courtyard Theater. Preview Performances: October 6 – October 14, 2021. Regular Run: October 16 – November 21, 2021 
  • The Tragedy of Othello, The Moor of Venice – Court Theatre – Opens October 16 at 8pm

November 2021

Sister Act at the Mercury Theater
  • Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski – Chicago Shakespeare – Opens November 4 at 7:45pm
