Time Out Market adds additional vendors and celebrates Opening Weekend from Thursday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20th
Back in October 2019 (which seems a lifetime ago) the highly anticipated opening of the Time Out Market in the Fulton Market District was a big event.
Little did we know it then that the world as we knew it was about to come to a screeching halt.
Now finally, after a painful 14 months, things are getting back to normal.
It’s time to celebrate.
And that’s exactly what Time Out Market has in store for this weekend.

OPENING DAY EVENTS- THURSDAY, JUNE 17:
Love Local Art: DOT + World Wide Zeb
Opens June 17, ongoingEach month, we welcome a pair of local artists to show off their work on the walls of Time Out Market Chicago’s west stairwell. In June, we’re showcasing a shifting geometric mural by DOT and a piece by underground graffiti artist World Wide Zeb.
Apologue Patio Bar
Opens June 17 5–10pm, ongoing Fri–Sun throughout the summer
Snag one of three draft cocktails from the Apologue Patio Bar, which is decorated with vibrant artwork from local illustrator, cartoonist and animator Samuel Nigrosh.
Ketel One Photo Booth Flower Wall
June 17, 5–9pm
Head up to the second floor of Time Out Market Chicago to snap a photo in front of the Kettle One flower wall, then sample a Ketel One Botanical Vodka Spritz.
Goose Island Presents: The Hemispheres
June 17, 5:45–8pm
Goose Island’s 312unes series will bring live music to Time Out Market Chicago’s patio throughout the summer, beginning with an opening day set from local soul outfit the Hemispheres. Currently acting as the house band for Ryan Dempster’s sports talk show Off The Mound, the band features multiple vocalists and a powerful horn section—swing by for dinner with a killer soundtrack.
Goose Island Tap Takeover at Tony’s Rooftop Bar
Opens June 17, ongoing
Want to sample some of Goose Island’s most interesting beers? The local brewery is taking over every tap at Time Out Market Chicago’s rooftop bar Tony’s throughout the summer, offering its Summertime Kolsch, Hazy Sundae IPA, Sofie Farmhouse Ale and more refreshing brews.
DJ D. Jones
June 17, 8–11pm
Chicago’s own DJ D. Jones has performed for partygoers, professional athletes and commercial clients throughout the city—and he’ll be spinning a special set of tunes as guests dig into their meals on the night of Time Out Market Chicago’s reopening.
FRIDAY, JUNE 18
DJ One Chance
June 18, 4–7pm
From mixing records in his moms on the West Side basement to landing a spot as an official DJ for the Chicago Bulls, DJ One Chance has come a long way in his short career. Expect a high-energy set from the local selector as he spins tracks for Time Out Market Chicago guests.
Chicago Bucket Boys
June 18, 5–6pm
A fixture of streets throughout the city (especially during the hot summer months) and at Chicago Bulls games, this expansive group of performers has been active since the ’90s, banging out complex rhythms on five-gallon plastic buckets. Time Out Market Chicago is proud to welcome some of Chicago’s Bucket Boys to our reopening weekend, where they’ll be making some noise with their instruments.
DJ Gemini Jones
June 18, 8–11pm
A veteran of the DJ competition circuit who has opened for acts like Waka Flocka Flame and Trinidad James, DJ Gemini Jones provides a crowd-pleasing mix of tunes during an evening set at Time Out Market Chicago.
SATURDAY, JUNE 19
Molly & The Misfits
June 19, 2–4pm
Featuring members of Chicagoland tribute acts like Catfight, the Lt. Dan Band and Too Live Crew, this local supergroup performs on the Time Out Market Chicago patio, delivering a set that may inspire you to take a break from your meal and start dancing.
Kaben Kafö West African Djembe Ensemble
June 19, 6–8pm
Eric Thomas, Paul A. Cotton and Michael J. Taylor channel the rhythms of West Africa with a percussive djembe drum performance celebrating Juneteenth and Time Out Market Chicago’s reopening weekend.
DJ Billa Beats
June 19, 8–11pm
A regular behind the decks at local spots like Ace Hotel, Virgin Hotel and Blind Barber, Erik Bose (a.k.a. DJ Billa Beats) spins a selection of house, disco, funk and hip-hop tracks at Time Out Market Chicago during its reopening weekend.
SUNDAY, JUNE 20
Jesse White Tumblers
June 20, noon–1pm
Founded in 1959 by gymnast-turned-politician Jesse White, this acrobatic group now boasts several different units that turn in hundreds of performances around the world each year. We’re excited to welcome one of the Jesse White Tumblers teams to Time Out Market Chicago, where the group will show off some amazing physical feats.
Chicago Soul Jazz Collective
June 20, 1–3pm
A group of Chicago musicians with deep ties to the local scene, the sound of the Chicago Soul Jazz Collective is true to its name, melding soulful grooves with upbeat jazz arrangements. The band will close out the weekend’s entertainment on Sunday afternoon during Time Out Market Chicago’s reopening weekend.

Time Out Market Chicago, (916 W. Fulton Market) who bills itself as “the World’s Best Food Hall” has announce three additional vendors as it officially reopens today, June 17th.
Bittersweet Pastry Shop, Polombia, and Bad Bach will join the all-star lineup of local chefs and restaurants that have been selected to “capture the soul of the city.” (Polombia opening June 24, Bill Kim Ramen Bar opening July 1, Bad Bach opening July 7).
The Market, located in the trendy Fulton Market District spans 53,000 square feet,. The Market includes an expansive patio along bustling Fulton Market Street and a rooftop bar.
Time Out Market Chicago will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 11am to 10pm (select vendors at open 8am, bars open until 11pm), Friday from 11am to 10pm (select vendors open at 8am, bars open until midnight) & Saturday from 11am to 10pm (select vendors open at 9am, bars open until midnight) and Sunday from 11am to 9pm (select vendors open at 9am, bars open until 10pm).
