The Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago reopens to public on March 7. Members can return during Early Access days March 4-6.

The highly anticipated exhibition Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes, has been extended through October 24.

MSI members will get exclusive first access during Member Days March 4-6.

“We’re excited to invite everyone to safely explore science with us again, and are thrilled to offer an incredible experience as soon as we reopen our doors with Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes,” said Chevy Humphrey, president and CEO of MSI. “Keeping the exhibition at MSI for a longer time offers even more opportunities for guests to plan their visit when they feel ready.”

About the exhibit

Marvel celebrates more than 80 years of the Marvel Universe and features more than 300 artifacts including some of Marvel’s most iconic costumes, props and original art.

Guests will follow the story of Marvel and its influence on visual culture, while uncovering the narratives of characters and gaining insight into how Marvel has impacted and drawn inspiration from the ever-changing tides of popular culture.

Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes is an exhibition by SC Exhibitions, Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and Marvel Themed Entertainment.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting Wednesday January 27. Guests must reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance of their visit at msichicago.org. Tickets will be delivered via email for no-contact entry scanning on mobile phones.

Open Days

MSI will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

COVID REGULATIONS

MSI will continue to follow rigorous safety procedures to ensure guests and staff remain safe. Daily capacity is limited, and timed admission tickets and physical distancing measures will reduce crowding. Face coverings are required for all staff and guests ages 2 and older.
