
Free eight-week film series features fan favorites along the lakefront from June 24 through August 12
Calling all superhero fans Whoosh! Bang! Kapow! Your favorite superheroes are heading outdoors this summer at Navy Pier’s third annual Water Flicks.
Water Flicks is a free summer film series that takes place on the Lake Stage in Polk Bros Park against the backdrop of serene Lake Michigan at sunset.
This summer’s theme is “Superheroes.” Guests will see some of the world’s greatest superheroes from hot ticket movies such as Black Panther, Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
The eight-week series kicks off Monday, June 24 and continues every Monday through August 12, starting at 6:30 p.m.
No need to sit in a dark theatre or stay home watching Netflix. Get out and enjoy the summer, bring a picnic or buy some food from one of the many eateries at Navy Pier and watch your favorite superhero.
Or make a day of it. Come early and shop, walk the Pier, go for a boat ride or a spin on the Ferris Wheel, dine, get a Rainbow cone and take advantage of the many other activities and attractions available.
