Irish or not–all are welcome–because on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish

Finally the Festival Season is in view. We’re only one week out from March–and, in Chicago, St. Patrick’s celebrations go through out the whole month. One of the highly anticipated events is the St. Paddy’s Run/walk.

This year’s 18th  annual St. Paddy’s 5 & 8K Run & Walk steps off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 with in Lincoln Park.  Start/finish location is Cannon Drive and Fullerton.

Come as you are or dress for the occasion. Participants that don the green in imaginative ways can win prizes. Plus it’s a benefit for a great cause with a portion of the proceeds benefit Resilience, a Chicago-based non-profit that helps survivors of sexual assaults.
