Chicago, Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Lookingglass Theatre, currently staging The Great Fire, will be having a “fire” sale of sorts featuring original costumes from past productions at bargain prices. Find that perfect Halloween costume , add to your collection of vintage clothing , build up your theatre’s stock –or run off and join the circus with one or more of the awesome costumes available. Professionally designed costumes on sale include pieces from the following past productions: Shaggs, Argonautika, Our Town, Peter Pan, Trust, Secret in the Wings and others. The costumes will be sold at prices from $1 to $50.
The sale will be held Monday, October 10th at the Water Tower Water Works in the upstairs Studio of the Lookingglass Theatre, 821 N. Michigan Ave. (enter on Pearson, just east of Michigan). Cash and all major credit cards accepted. Sale time: noon to 8p.m. or until all costumes are sold–whichever comes first.
