Holiday Fun Abounds at Chicago Navy Pier’s 10th Annual Winter WonderFest.

The weather outside may be chilling but visitors to Navy Pier’s Winter WonderFest don’t have to worry, since after the arrival of Chicago’s Christmas Tree Ship and Santa by boat, the rest of the celebration is indoors.  Check out the easy to use guide to the Fest below along with Fest highlights in the slideshow.

WHAT:

Winter WonderFest transforms Chicago’s Navy Pier into a 170,000 square foot holiday hamlet, surrounded by festive lights, hundreds of decorated trees, music, live entertainment, carnival rides, ice skating, Carolers, games, a North Pole Wish Center, giant slides and SANTA.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Don’t miss SANTA’S ARRIVAL.  Santa and Mrs Claus arrive in dramatic fashion via Lake Michigan by boat with flashing spotlights, sirens and FIREWORKS.  Saturday, December 4, 6p.m. to 6:30p.m.  Following the ceremony, Santa will proceed indoors, where he’ll hear holiday wishes and pose for family pictures.  See other highlights in the slide show.
