For the first time since
1938, Wrigley Field will host a college football game when the Northwestern
University Wildcats (6-3) meet the University of Illinois Fighting Illini (5-4)
on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Get ready for a 12-hour
Although the game doesn’t start until 2:30p.m., the Wildcat
Way Street Festival kicks off at
10a.m. and continues to 10p.m. The
fest will take place on Sheffield Avenue between Addison Street and Waveland
Avenue. Sheffield will be transformed into party central featuring numerous
activities, big screen TVs for football viewing along with food,
beverages and merchandise concessions available throughout the fest. A large
heated tent will cover the south side of Wildcat Way, featuring Northwestern
face painters, several bars and seating tables, plus 10 large plasma
televisions. Admittance is free to all.
10:00a.m. The Fest kicks off.

will air on a 9′ x 12′ LED screen (behind the Bud Light
Stage) and numerous flat-screens located throughout Wildcat Way.
11:00a.m. To 2:30p.m. Live
music acts will perform on the Bud Light Music Stage near Waveland Avenue.
11:45a.m. The Northwestern Wildcats football team
arrives by bus. Please Note: The original plans to arrive at the Addison St. Red Line stop by el and proceed down Addison for a procession into the stadium have been scraped.
though 2:30p.m. The on-site Allstate Tailgate Tour will feature the
Allstate College Football Legacy Museum and the Allstate Fan Club where fans
can create personal signs, a Plinko-type board for prizes and a green screen
photo area where fans can take pictures that are retrievable online after the

interactive Q-and-A session with fans and sign autographs followed by a
football toss challenge and bags game.

Classic at 10 a.m. CST this Saturday, November 13, at Tickets.com. These seats are primarily located in the terrace reserved and upper deck reserved sections of Wrigley Field. Full view tickets are sold out. However some may be available at Stub Hub for a premium price.
