Clary (Lily Collins) is in search of her missing mother. She must find something that demons are looking for that her mother hid. She meets Shadowhunters who show Clary (Lily Collins) a different side of New York City a dangerous side. Will she find her mother? Will she find the object? Will she survive this new opened world where stories are true?

This film was a mixture of Beautiful Creatures and Twilight. It had magic, vampires, demons and werewolves. It had a interesting and twisted storyline. Never a dull moment. It had some great fight scenes with swords. Now I am intrigued to read the books. Overall I would watch it again.

I would say go and see this movie if you liked Beautiful Creatures or any of the Twilight movies.
